JACKSON, Tenn. (May 17, 2022) – Leaders Credit Union, a member-owned financial cooperative based in Jackson, Tenn., honors Ron Hill, board member for twenty-eight years. Hill stepped down as board chair at Leaders Credit Union annual meeting on March 21, 2022, and transitioned to his new role as board emeritus. Hill began his career at West TN Healthcare in 1969 and gained 42 years of experience before he retired in 2011. His work experience in healthcare served Leaders well in his time as both director and chair.
"We are indebted to Ron and his service to Leaders Credit Union," President and CEO Todd Swims said. "Ron's impeccable character and expertise have led our credit union into the digital age and towards great success throughout our foreseeable future."
The Hospice Home is slated as a 20,000 square-foot facility hosted in a wooded area off Coatsland Drive near Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. It will host twenty private rooms with accommodations for caregivers to stay alongside patients. The Hospice Home will include areas for large families to spend time together in the outdoor gardens, children's playground, or in the spacious lobby or sitting areas.
The family room will include a plaque with the inscription "The Ron Hill Family Room, dedicated by Leaders Credit Union.” Hill was given a framed watercolor rendering of the Hospice Home for a memento.
