ARLINGTON, Tenn. (March 28, 2024) – Leaders Credit Union, a member-owned financial cooperative based in Jackson, Tennessee, held a groundbreaking ceremony for their new branch in Arlington, Tennessee on Thursday, March 28, 2024. Civic leaders, community partners, and Leaders Credit Union leadership attended the groundbreaking to commemorate the beginning of the building process. Leaders is working with local companies, Renaissance Group and Moss-Carpenter Construction Company, to build this 2,983 square foot facility. The branch is projected to be completed by the end of 2024.
"We're excited to announce the expansion of our services into the town of Arlington," said Todd Swims, President and CEO at Leaders Credit Union. "Our team of financial champions is looking forward to extending a warm welcome to new members and providing them with personalized guidance every step of the way on their financial journey. We're here to empower our community, offering the resources and support they need to achieve their financial goals and dreams."
In addition to members of the architecture and construction teams, the Arlington Chamber Vice President, Chamber Ambassadors, Leaders Executive team, and financial champions were in attendance.

"Leaders has been involved in Arlington for years, not necessarily in a physical presence, but have been involved in Arlington for years. I first became aware of them by watching the Leaders Mortgage Champions partner with the Arlington Chamber at luncheons and at different events serving in the community."
The branch is located at 5500 Airline Road across from Arlington High School, and it is Leaders Credit Union’s first location in the Arlington community and second in Shelby County. The branch is a full-service financial institution offering checking accounts, savings accounts, personal loans, vehicle loans, and mortgages. Brittany Boone will serve as the Assistant Vice President of Branch Operations and Jamie Dawson will be the on-site mortgage lending officer.
