JACKSON, TN (August 30, 2023)- Leaders Credit Union, a member-owned financial cooperative, was named the number one credit union to work for in Tennessee and ranked number 11 in the nation by American Banker.
For the fifth year in a row, Leaders Credit Union was named one of the best credit unions to work for in the nation. Seventy credit unions were honored in this year’s top rankings, ranging from 22 employees to 3,258.
Leaders serves West Tennessee with its 190 employees in Jackson, Milan, Union City, Dyersburg, and Memphis. They have many benefits offered to their employees, one of them being Leaders University, where staff can receive training and development to gain skills from other areas outside their expertise, in many cases taught by subject matter experts within Leaders. Leaders’ benefits package and company culture play a significant role in the success of the 66-year-old company. Each credit union that made the list was selected through two different questionnaires. One examined employee satisfaction through anonymous surveys, and the institution must score at least 40% participation rate to qualify. The second survey evaluated the benefits and policies of the credit union.
